Thermally Driven Supramolecular Chirality Evolution in Low‐Bandgap Fused‐Ring Conjugated Molecules for High‐Performance NIR Circularly Polarized Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular chirality evolution strategy in chiral low‐bandgap fused‐ring conjugated molecules enables high‐performance near‐infrared (NIR) circularly polarized light photodetection. Halogen substitution and thermal annealing induce chiral amplification and hierarchical ordering. Integrated into Schottky barrier vertical transistors, the optimized

A Pathology‐Instructed Theranostic Platform with Mechanoadaptive and ROS‐Powered Nanobreathing Functions for Precision Myocardial Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed a pH responsive theranostic serum albumin hydrogel named BST, functionalized with MRI and CT probes and loaded with mitochondria targeted CAT‐SOD nanogels, that rapidly self repairs and mechanically stabilizes the infarcted myocardium, releases therapeutic nanogels and albumin under hypoxia induced acidosis to clear mitochondrial ROS ...

Ultrasound‐Recharged Sub‐Nanometer Palladium Catalysts for on‐Demand and Self‐Terminating Bioorthogonal Prodrug Activation in Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Safe and precise bioorthogonal therapy of tumors was achieved by an ultrasound‐responsive heterostructured nanoreactor with on‐demand catalytic activity. Under piezoelectric catalysis, the system undergoes reversible Pd2+/Pd0 redox cycling, concurrently enabling spatiotemporally controlled prodrug activation and self‐terminating catalytic dose ...

Nanozyme‐Reinforced miR‐197‐3p Delivery Resets Metabolic and Senescence Pathways to Rejuvenate Osteoarthritic Cartilage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive and disabling joint disease driven by oxidative stress, chondrocyte senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation, yet lacks effective disease‐modifying treatments. In this study, we identified miR‐197‐3p as a previously unrecognized, cartilage‐protective miRNA significantly downregulated in both ...

Artificial Host‐Guest Recognition Directs Glycometabolically Engineered Macrophages to Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glycoengineered supramolecular macrophages (GSAR‐M) are developed using glycometabolic labeling for bioorthogonal host‐guest tumor targeting. This engineering approach unexpectedly enhances macrophage migration, phagocytosis, and pseudopodia formation. Consequently, GSAR‐M demonstrate robust tumor‐targeting specificity, effectively arrest tumor growth,

Mechanical Flexibility Enables DNA Origami to Overcome Steric Confinement in Mucus

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mechanical flexibility is introduced as a design parameter to enhance nanocarrier transport in mucus. Using DNA origami, flexibility is decoupled from size, shap and surface chemistry, revealing improved passage through confined hydrogel networks. While surface passivation reduces aggregation, flexibility further boosts transport, offering a general ...

Engineering Ultrastable Intrinsic Radicals: Graphene Quantum Dots With NIR‐II Emission for Dynamic Deep‐Tissue Bioimaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Stable radicals are attractive for photonic and quantum information technologies but are often limited by instability. We stabilize intrinsic radicals in graphene quantum dots via 2D polymerization of perylene derivatives, where bilayer defect confinement suppresses quenching (100–500 K).

Click'n ROPISA: One‐Pot Synthesis of Ultrabright Fluorescent Nanoparticles Made of Polypeptides

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Self‐assembly and fluorophore conjugation proceed rapidly in a one‐pot “Click'n ROPISA” process, yielding intensely fluorescent polypeptide nanoparticles with tunable visible emission. High dye loading enables efficient energy transfer and single‐particle visualization, while the straightforward synthesis provides versatile access to bright ...

Bypassing Heteronuclear MRI: Metal‐Free Organosilicon Nanotracers for Background‐Free Hotspot 1H Imaging on Clinical Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Organosilicon micelles enable background‐free molecular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) while remaining fully compatible with standard proton (1H) hardware. By exploiting a spectrally silent 1H window at ∼0 ppm, the silicone nanotracer allows hotspot detection by 1H chemical‐shift imaging (CSI) without metals or heteronuclei, enabling direct overlay ...

Planar Chiral Carbazole‐Naphthalene Bisimide Hetero‐Cyclophane for Circularly Polarized Delayed Fluorescence

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Tightly stacked carbazole and 1,2:5,6–naphthalene bisimide units afforded a planar chiral hetero‐cyclophane. The architecturally refined system, with strong charge‐transfer interaction and enhanced structural rigidity, exhibits orange‐red delayed CPL emission in both solution and solid states.
