In der Region Trier wurden im Rahmen eines Biomonitorings von Mai bis Oktober 1994 an funf Stationen Tabakpflanzen der Variante Bel W3 exponiert, die sich als Reaktionsindikator fur Photooxidantien wie Ozon eignen. Zwischen Ozonimmissionen und Blattschaden lies sich keine einfache lineare Dosis-Wirkungs-Beziehung ableiten.
