X-Ray Micro-radiography of Biological Specimens
Nature, 1951A HGHLY loaded micro-focus X-ray tube1,2 was used for taking X-ray photographs of microscopic specimens. Engstrom and others3–5 have established a strong case for this kind of micro-radiography and have obtained remarkable photographs of microscopic sections in a wave-length range of 5–10 A. using a special tube with a focus of moderate size.
