open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 1, 2 January 2026.

Synergistic Effect of Organic Waste Products and Microbial Inocula on Iron and Zinc Biofortification in Cowpea [Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp.]

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
Agro‐biofortification using micronutrient‐rich organic waste products combined with local beneficial microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi substantially enhanced iron and zinc concentrations in cowpea. Across contrasting seasons, this integrated approach increased Fe by up to 48% in grains and 259% in haulms, and Zn by up to 28% in grains and 265% in ...

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 48, November 24, 2025.

Evaluating the determinants of deforestation and approaches to reforestation by cocoa farmers in Côte d'Ivoire

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 1674-1683, November 2025.
Cocoa‐driven deforestation threatens tropical forests, particularly in Côte d'Ivoire, the world's largest cocoa producer. This study examines the motivations behind cocoa cultivation in classified forests, the selection of retained tree species on farms, and the economic drivers of wooded lands conservation among farmers.

Revival of traditional agricultural systems – A multidisciplinary on‐farm survey of maize‐bean intercropping reveals unexpected competition effects on beans

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 1755-1770, November 2025.
Cereal‐legume intercropping is a promising strategy for sustainable agroecosystems, leveraging the biological complementarities between plant species to reduce the need for inputs while enhancing field biodiversity. Here, we focused on maize‐bean intercropping, which is experiencing a revival in conventional agricultural settings.

Les dommages d’insectes aux racines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity, Volume 18, Issue 6, Page 1037-1052, November 2025.
We collected ground‐nesting bees at 35 farms over two summers and assessed their abundance, diversity, and community composition in relation to local soil characteristics (texture, compaction, slope, and ground cover). Ground‐nesting bee abundance and species richness increased with bare ground and sand content.

Expelled by the Antarctic ice: Evolutionary history of the tribe Cunonieae (Cunoniaceae)

open access: yesJournal of Systematics and Evolution, Volume 63, Issue 6, Page 1441-1457, November 2025.
Fossil calibration reveals recent radiations and biogeographical history of the Cunonieae tribe. The most densely sampled phylogeny indicated Antarctica and Patagonia as areas of origin, confirming the reestablishment of Pterophylla and revealing the northward movement of Weinmannia into the tropical Andes.

Land Cover Changes Following Biogas Development Across Different Farm Types: A Nationwide Study in France

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 17, Issue 10, October 2025.
The French biomethane market is one of the fastest growing in Europe, with farms increasingly using energy cover crops as feedstock for their biogas plants. Our study highlights a diversity of land cover changes following biogas plant implementation, depending on‐farm characteristics and location.
