AbstractThis work investigated the combustion process of different kinds of biomass materials together with their kinetic characters using thermogravimetric analysis method. In the experiments, the biomass materials were burnt at the heating rate of 20, 30 and 40°C min−1, respectively. The heating end temperature was up to 900°C.
