Theoretical approaches to bioresource management in the context of sustainable development
У статті досліджено теоретичні засади управління біоресурсами в агропромисловому комплексі в умовах переходу до сталого розвитку. Розкрито сутність поняття «біоресурси» як відтворюваного природного капіталу, що поєднує природні, економічні та соціально ...

Confocal Raman microscopy combined with multivariate analysis distinguishes cisplatin‐resistant and ‐sensitive tubo‐ovarian high‐grade serous carcinoma cell lines. ABSTRACT Chemoresistance is a major obstacle to effective cancer treatment, particularly in tubo‐ovarian high‐grade serous carcinoma (HGSC), the most lethal gynaecological malignancy ...

Abstract BACKGROUND Inhibitors of angiotensin‐converting enzyme (ACE) are used in pharmaceuticals and functional foods. Captopril, a well‐known ACE inhibitor, extends the lifespan of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. Bioactive peptides derived from food sources are considered safe ACE inhibitors.

Abstract BACKGROUND Abelmoschus sagittifolius stands out as a valuable medicinal source for developing functional food targeting type 2 diabetes. This study investigated the α‐glucosidase inhibitory potential of an active fraction obtained from A. sagittifolius roots (ASR), enriched in (9Z)‐5,8,11‐trihydroxyoctadec‐9‐enoic acid (OA), using both enzyme ...

Lysosome Evanescence Mediates Autophagic Flux Impairment in Glucose Imbalanced Environments
ABSTRACT Schwann cells (SCs) support axonal function and promote nerve regeneration. This study investigated how various glucose concentrations influence SC viability, oxidative stress, and autophagy, which contribute to diabetic neuropathy. RSC96 SCs were cultured under five glucose conditions (0, 2.5, 5.5, 50, or 100 mM) for 24, 48, and 72 h.

The Kinetic of Biogas Production Rate from Cattle Manure in Batch Mode [PDF]
In this study, the kinetic of biogas production was studied by performing a series laboratory experiment using rumen fluid of animal ruminant as inoculums. Cattle manure as substrate was inoculated by rumen fluid to the anaerobic biodigester.
