Main Points Late radial glia cells are abundant up to the fourth postnatal day in rat brains and generate neurons postnatally. SVCT2 is apically polarized in late radial glia cells and regulates their differentiation in vitro and in vivo. Abstract Radial glia (RG) cells generate neurons and glial cells that make up the cerebral cortex.
