Durch einen stabilisierten Intermediatkomplex vermittelte Friedel‐Crafts‐Alkylierung auf Oberflächen

Einblicke in eine Csp3${\rm C}_{sp^{3}}$‐Csp2${\rm C}_{sp^{2}}$‐Kupplung an Edelmetalloberflächen werden anhand einer oberflächenvermittelten Friedel‐Crafts‐Alkylierung auf Ag(111) gegeben. STM, XPS und DFT‐Rechnungen klären den Reaktionsmechanismus auf Einzelmolekülebene und die Stabilisierung des zentralen Intermediats auf.

Radical, Not Ionic: The Mechanochemical Zincke Nitration of Phenols

1,2‐Bis(boronate) Arenes by Borylation Directed Borylation

Boron electrophiles derived from tetrabromo‐pyrazaboles and AlCl3 affect the regioselective vicinal double C–H borylation of a range of arenes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). A subsequent pinacol installation step then affords the vicinal bis‐boronate ester‐substituted arene/PAH.

The assessment of content polychlorinated biphenyls in soils of Moscow

There are given the measurement results of polychlorinated biphenyls concentration in the soils at a different functional areas of Yasenevo district in Moscow. Found that the major source of PCB in the district’s soils today are motorways.
