NuSAP Safeguards Centriole Integrity to Mediate CEP57‐CEP152 Torus Recruitment for Proper Engagement
This study reveals a novel role for the microtubule stabilizer NuSAP at centrioles. NuSAP depletion destabilizes the centriole's tubulin structure, causing premature disengagement, PCM defects, and mis‐localization of the CEP57‐CEP63‐CEP152 complex. By reinforcing centriole architecture, NuSAP enables early CEP57 loading and initiates a newly proposed ...

Our study reveals a novel mechanism of a positive regulatory circuit between Cav1.2 and H3K27ac for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) progression. Cav1.2 is identified as a crucial target for promoting disease progression and correlates with malignant behaviors, which are remarkably inhibited by the administration of calcium channel blockers (

The common denominator. Romania and the Nordic countries, 1966-1969
One of Nicolae Ceauşescu’s beliefs was that international security and cooperation could not rely on Cold War bipolarity, but on active involvement from every state in promoting its interests and points of view. In defending such policies, Romania sought

Triboelectric charge generation at polymer‐metal interfaces arises from the interplay of intra‐ and inter transformation reactions of mechanochemically generated species, physical properties of polymers, environmental conditions. The direction and the magnitude of electron transfer between metal and polymer are dynamically governed by the relative ...

Bipolar and bivariate models in multi-criteria decision analysis: descriptive and constructive approaches [PDF]
Multi-criteria decision analysis studies decision problems in which the alternatives are evaluated on several dimensions or viewpoints. In the problems we consider in this paper, the scales used for assessing the alternatives with respect to a viewpoint ...

Respiratory‐Limbic Coupling via a Thalamic Circuit Alleviates Anxiety
This study delineates a conserved preBötCGlu→PVT→CeA circuit that gates anxiety and respiration. Activation of this circuit is anxiolytic and respiratory‐stabilizing, while its inhibition has the opposite effect. Mechanistically, PVT exerts its anxiolytic action via a disinhibitory microcircuit: its inputs preferentially target CeL GABAergic neurons ...

This study shows that amyloid fibrils form nematic condensates via liquid–liquid crystalline phase separation (LLCPS). With increasing pH, this transition shifts toward disordered condensates formed through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), in which birefringence with lack of a coherent nematic field symmetry originates from enthalpic fibril ...
