New CCII-based current-mode biquadratic filters
International Journal of Electronics, 1992New configurations of current-mode biquadratic filters using second generation current conveyors (CCIIs) are presented. They can synthesize second-order high-pass, lowpass, bandpass, allpass, and notch filtering functions using CCIIs connected to four or more passive one-port RC elements.

Synthesis of biquadratic filters from current conveyors
Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part II: Electronics), 1993AbstractThis paper describes a circuit configuration for a biquad filter which utilizes the second‐generation current conveyors (CC II) and is capable of synthesizing an arbitrary second‐order transfer function. The circuit is composed of a subblock circuit with two positive CC IIs and a differential input circuit with two positive CC IIs.The subblock ...

In this chapter, we will consider a number of interesting circuits associated with biquadratic functions. Initially, the R-C type will be discussed and the analysis conducted using an approach resembling that used for analogue computing circuitry. It should be pointed out here that some authors prefer to use state-space methods of analysis for these ...

MOS compatible, all-capacitor biquadratic active filters
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1979An analog active filter design method is proposed, using only integrating amplifiers and ratioed capacitors. The design is suitable for monolithic implementation, particularly in MOS technology. Experimental results demonstrate the circuits' performance at high frequencies.

Universal biquadratic digital filter with tunable capability
TENCON 2011 - 2011 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2011This paper presents a tunable universal biquadratic digital filter. The transfer functions in z-domain of universal biquadratic digital filter that can give five outputs simultaneously are obtained by bilinear s-z transformation using modified bilinear Pascal matrix.

Current‐mode biquadratic filter using DO‐CCCDBAs
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2008AbstractThis paper presents a current‐mode universal biquadratic filter performing three functions; low pass, high pass and band pass, based on dual‐output current‐controlled current differencing buffered amplifiers (DO‐CCCDBAs). The features of the circuit are that the quality factor and pole frequency can be tuned independently via the input bias ...

New switched-capacitor universal biquadratic filter
International Journal of Electronics, 1991A new switched-capacitor (SC) universal biquadratic fitter is presented. The circuit uses three operational amplifiers and can simultaneously realize lowpass, bandpass and highpass transfer functions in a single SC structure. The filter is parasitic free, requires less capacitor spread and total capacitance, and enjoys very low sensitivities.

Active filter realization of biquadratic transfer function
International Journal of Electronics, 1974The realization of quadratic transfer functions by an active band-pass filter is described. The hybrid-integrated circuit used consists of a three-terminal passive network, connected to a high-gain inverting amplifier. A design procedure for minimizing the gain–sensitivity product is given.

Optimum configurations for single-amplifier biquadratic filters
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1980Two new biquad circuits based on the Sallen-Key positive feedback structure are introduced and shown to be capable of realizing all possible second-order filter functions. The pole design equations and pole sensitivities are identical to those of the Deliyannis bandpass circuit which is the basis for the Friend biquad.
