Acid Resistant and Highly Silver Selective Membranes Based on Charged Nanoporous 2D‐Materials

In this work, new membranes based on charged & nanoporous nanosheets with unprecedented selectivity to silver versus a wide range of other metallic ions are reported. Furthermore, a demonstrated and lead specific intralamellar lead pathway is demonstrated. A potential applicability for ubiquitous silver in WEEE is validated.

Shear‐Induced Anisotropic Supramolecular Gel Noodles for Improved Cell Guidance in Polarized Tissue Engineering

A simple two‐stage extrusion aligns supramolecular fibrils into 1D gel noodles. Mapping the Residual Stress Distribution in Polycrystalline Quartz Tiger's Eye Using Raman Spectroscopy

Residual stresses in Tiger’s Eye quartz have been mapped by combining Raman spectroscopy and electron back scatter diffraction. The study quantified stress distributions likely formed during cooling due to the anisotropy of thermal contraction.
