Project management challenges in client‐consultant decision‐making: A case for the Ghanaian mining construction industry

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, EarlyView.
Abstract This study explores the complex decision‐making (DM) dynamics between clients and consultants, a crucial area often neglected in existing research. Utilizing a Multi‐Perspective Approach combined with Multi‐Criteria Decision Analysis, we examine DM challenges such as cost overruns, project delays, and compromised work quality stemming from ...

Corn cob pyrolysis: A systematic literature review of methods and applications

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Mapping the research landscape of corn cob pyrolysis. Abstractas The agricultural sector is experiencing a surge in waste generation due to population growth, creating an urgent need to convert byproducts into value‐added products. Maize (Zea mays L.), a leading global crop, produces significant byproducts, such as corn cob, which are often undervalued.

Promotion Role of Hydrothermal Pretreatment on Adsorption Ability of Biochar Derived From Sewage Sludge Converted by Pyrolysis

open access: yesCleanMat, EarlyView.
The HTC pretreatment increased surface oxygen‐containing groups (‐COOH or C=O, ‐OH), which was adsorption sites to promote Cu2+ adsorption. Chemical adsorption was the predominant mechanism. The adsorption interactions include ion exchange, electrostatic effect, surface complexation and cation‐π interaction.

Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Bicyclic Pyrazolines with Promising Antimicrobial Activities

open access: yesChemMedChem, EarlyView.
Continuous flow technology is exploited for the generation of bicyclic pyrazolines via photo‐click reactions. These heterocyclic species contain a valuable 3D scaffold along with a polar succinimide moiety. Subsequent antimicrobial testing reveals that halogenated moieties such as chlorine atoms and trifluoromethoxy groups enhance the potency of these ...
