Births and Birth Registration in Mreyjeh

The birth registration system in Mreyjeh was investigated to determine its usefulness to health clinics in initiating maternal and child care. Because Lebanon is divided into many subdistricts and because all births are to be registered with the mukhtar of that district by a specific time the study has shown that the data is incorrect and incomplete.
