Perceived Risks and Agency Trust Associated With Chronic Wasting Disease Over Time 慢性消耗性疾病相关感知风险与机构信任的时序变化研究

Elephant space use and habitat selection change across drought timescales

Drought threatens wildlife worldwide, but little is known about wildlife behaviour during drought. This study combines 19 years of elephant GPS data with drought conditions at three timescales. Key findings include that elephants (i) move less during drought at a 1‐month timescale and (ii) change habitat selection across drought timescales.

Herbivore species asynchrony underpins multitrophic stability across plants, herbivores and predators

Across a grassland food web, multitrophic stability was most closely associated with herbivore species asynchrony. By identifying herbivores as a key source of temporal buffering between plants and predators, this study shows that intermediate consumers can play a central role in stabilizing the complex food web.
