Dispersion‐Engineered Broadband Transparent Meta‐Cloak

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 9, 13 May 2026.
Achieving broadband performance remains a critical challenge in engineering physics. Here, theoretical derivation shows that the core phase compensation conditions for broadband transparent cloaking exhibit dispersive characteristics. A novel broadband transparent cloaking paradigm via dispersion engineering is proposed, and a meta‐cloak that realizes ...

Hierarchical Reconfigurable Metasurface Based on Scenario‐Guided Functional Modules and Programmable Core

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 28, 18 May 2026.
This paper proposes a hierarchical reconfigurable metasurface architecture (HRMA) to achieve comprehensive electromagnetic parameter modulation and on‐demand polymorphic function switching. The reconfigurable metasurface is divided into a programmable core (PC) and scenario‐guided functional modules (FMs), exhibiting significant flexibility and ...

Neural Network–Assisted Metasurface Retroreflector With Wide‐Angle Adaptivity

open access: yesElectron, Volume 4, Issue 2, May 2026.
This work proposes a wide‐angle, multi‐polarization, self‐sensing, and self‐adaptive intelligent metasurface retroreflector, with a planar profile and ultrathin thickness. By integrating a pre‐trained artificial neural network (ANN), the metasurface retroreflector can recognize the incident angle and promptly adapt to changes in the incoming wave.

Extending Loffeld's bistatic formula for the general bistatic SAR configuration

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2010
This study derives an accurate bistatic point target reference spectrum based on a zeroth-order polynomial model. The spectrum contains only two hyperbolic square root terms that are very analogous in form to the analytical monostatic spectrum. The new formulation can be considered as an improvement of the Loffeld's bistatic formula (LBF) and allows it

Synergistic Optimization of Microwave Absorption and Thermal Properties via Morphology Control in Tin Disulfide Coated FeCoCrNiAl Powders

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT This study employed a FeCoCrNiAl high entropy alloy matrix to regulate the nucleation and growth of SnS2 through solvent polarity, viscosity, and sulfur source release rates. Three distinct nanostructures including nanoribbons, nanoflowers, and nanosheets were synthesized and integrated onto a silicone rubber substrate.

Characterization of Mass Wasting Events on Lunar Maria Using Mini‐RF Radar Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Evidence of mass wasting has been observed on the Moon since at least the Apollo era. Surface features indicative of mass wasting processes are traditionally characterized geomorphologically using visible images. In this study, we aim to better understand mass wasting features via their radar properties, which can provide insights into the ...

Bistatic systems

open access: yesArchives of Acoustics, 2014
This paper describes key features of a bistatic operation in the hydroacoustic systems, his performance model and constraints imposed by environment and propagation conditions in shallow water. The architecture and construction of bistatic systems, their features and requirements has been presented.

Multiband Switchable Microwave Absorbing Metamaterials Based on Reconfigurable Kirigami–Origami

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 23, 19 March 2026.
A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed. Stretchable kirigami and bistable origami configurations are integrated as actuating components, and the synergistic deformation mechanisms are systematically analyzed.

Machine Learning Driven Window Blinds Inspired Porous Carbon‐Based Flake for Ultra‐Broadband Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 17, 23 March 2026.
Inspired by the regulation mechanism of window blinds, this study designs an electromagnetic wave‐absorbing metamaterial. By introducing the magneto‐electric coupling concept and integrating it with an artificial intelligence‐based data‐driven collaborative optimization strategy, the material optimizes impedance matching performance and enhances loss ...
