Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

A healthy gut barrier shields underlying fibroblasts from luminal shear forces, illustrating that “good fences make good neighbors.” Barrier damage exposes fibroblasts to shear stress, inducing cell death and the emergence of stress‐adapted, profibrotic fibroblasts. Sustained shear exposure promotes the formation of stiff aggregates of mechanoadapative

Performance of binary FSK data transmission systems [PDF]
Matched-filter detection of binary signals is discussed in terms of the probability of bit error. The equations for the probability of error are derived for coherent phase shift keying, and coherent frequency shift keying (FSK).

On deciding whether a Boolean function is constant or not
We study the probability of making an error if, by querying an oracle a fixed number of times, we declare constant a randomly chosen n-bit Boolean function.

The butterfly unfolded wing in an open form structure of botulinum neurotoxin type A (BoNT/A) at physiological‐state was confirmed at 2.85 Å resolution by cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM). Structure‐guided protein engineering significantly enhanced the receptor‐binding affinity, therapeutic efficacy, and safety of the engineered toxin variants ...

Symbol and Bit Error Probability for Coded TQAM in AWGN Channel
Abstract The performance of coded modulation scheme based on the application of integer codes to triangular quadrature amplitude modulation (TQAM) with 22m points constellation is investigated. A method of calculating the exact value of symbol error rate over AWGN channel in the case of TQAM combined with encoding by integer codes is described ...

Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,
