In this paper, I argue (a) that the predicate “true” is ambiguously used to express a deflationary and a substantial concept of truth and (b) that the two concepts are systematically related in that substantial truths are deflationary truths of a certain

Linearism, Universalism and Scope Ambiguities
ABSTRACT In this paper, I distinguish two possible families of semantics of the open future: Linearism, according to which future tense sentences are evaluated with respect to a unique possible future history, and Universalism, according to which future tense sentences are evaluated universally quantifying on the histories passing through the moment of

Low‐affinity antibodies are frequently disregarded in discovery pipelines. This work reports P5‐1C8, a Class 1 SARS‐CoV‐2 antibody with weak trimer binding (KD‐to‐IC50 > 3700‐fold) yet potent neutralization of Omicron JN.1. Structural, biophysical, functional, and coarse‐grained simulations collectively demonstrate that transient inter‐spike IgG ...

ABSTRACT Bispecific antibodies (bsAbs), for which each arm binds a distinct molecular target, are developed to engage soluble and cell surface targets in different therapeutic indications. Three key examples of mechanisms of action (MoA) for bsAbs are (1) immune cell engagers that foster immune cell interactions with target cells, (2) bispecifics that ...

The present contribution might be regarded as a kind of defense of the common sense in logic. It is demonstrated that if the classical negation is interpreted as the minimal negation with n = 2 truth values, then deviant logics can be conceived as ...

T Cell Exhaustion in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Substantial Barrier in Immunotherapy
ABSTRACT Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), accounting for over 90% of primary liver cancers, remains a major global challenge for healthcare professionals. While immunotherapy has transformed the landscape of cancer treatment, its success is often limited by immune resistance, particularly through T cell exhaustion which remains a major barrier to ...

Fractional Kinetic Modelling of the Adsorption and Desorption Processes From Experimental SPR Curves
ABSTRACT The application of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) has transformed the study of interactions between a ligand immobilized on the surface of a sensor chip (LS$$ {L}_S $$) and an analyte in solution (A$$ A $$). This technique enables the real‐time monitoring of binding processes with high sensitivity. The adsorption–desorption dynamics, A+LS→ALS$

Semantic externalism without thought experiments [PDF]
Externalism is the thesis that the contents of intentional states and speech acts are not determined by the way the subjects of those states or acts are internally. It is a widely accepted but not entirely uncontroversial thesis.

A novel chromatin‐labeling probe is developed to investigate chromatin mobility during differentiation. The silicon rhodamine–conjugated dCTP is efficiently delivered into iPSCs and NSCs using a synthetic transporter. Super‐resolution microscopy and single‐particle tracking show decreased chromatin mobility during differentiation.

Is Aristotle’s Response to the Argument for Fatalism in De Interpretatione 9 Successful?
The goal of this paper is to figure out whether Aristotle’s response to the argument for fatalism in De Interpretatione 9 is a success. By “response” it is meant not simply the reasons Aristotle offers to highlight why fatalism does not accord with how ...
