Caracterização fenotípica e genética da produção de leite e do intervalo entre partos em bubalinos da raça Murrah Phenotypic and genetic characterization of the milk yield and calving interval in buffalo of the Murrah breed

On the Analysis of Bivariate Non-stationary Processes

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B: Statistical Methodology, 1973
Summary In this paper, we propose a general definition of the evolutionary (time-dependent) cross-spectrum between two non-stationary processes and describe its physical interpretation. We also study the estimation of the evolutionary cross-spectrum at each time instant t from a single realization of a bivariate process.

Hybrid copula mixed models for combining case-control and cohort studies in meta-analysis of diagnostic tests [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Copula mixed models for trivariate (or bivariate) meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy studies accounting (or not) for disease prevalence have been proposed in the biostatistics literature to synthesize information.

Analysis of Some Linear Dynamic Systems with Bivariate Wavelets [PDF]

open access: yesالمجلة العراقية للعلوم الاحصائية, 2019
There are many statistical methods related to the forecasting of time series without any input variables such as autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA models).

Application of bivariate meta-analytic approach for pooling effect measures of correlated multiple outcomes in medical research

open access: yesClinical Epidemiology and Global Health, 2022
Background: Multivariate meta-analysis is used when multiple correlated outcomes are reported in a systematic review. This study explored the application of multivariate meta-analysis in such a context. The objectives of the present study were to compare

A vine copula mixed effect model for trivariate meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy studies accounting for disease prevalence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A bivariate copula mixed model has been recently proposed to synthesize diagnostic test accuracy studies and it has been shown that it is superior to the standard generalized linear mixed model in this context.

Análise multidimensional de consórcios cenoura-alface sob diferentes combinações de densidades populacionais Multidimensional analysis of carrot-lettuce intercroppings under different combinations of population densities

Bivariate Entropy Analysis of Electrocardiographic RR–QT Time Series

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
QT interval variability (QTV) and heart rate variability (HRV) are both accepted biomarkers for cardiovascular events. QTV characterizes the variations in ventricular depolarization and repolarization. It is a predominant element of HRV.

Chain Plot: A Tool for Exploiting Bivariate Temporal Structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper we present a graphical tool useful for visualizing the cyclic behaviour of bivariate time series. We investigate its properties and link it to the asymmetry of the two variables concerned.
