Hardness and approximation results for Black Hole Search in arbitrary networks
AbstractA black hole is a highly harmful stationary process residing in a node of a network and destroying all mobile agents visiting the node without leaving any trace. The Black Hole Search is the task of locating all black holes in a network by exploring it with mobile agents. We consider the problem of designing the fastest Black Hole Search, given

COMPARING THE IMPACT OF BLACK HOLE AND GRAY HOLE ATTACKS IN MOBILE ADHOC NETWORKS [PDF]
Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) are dynamic in nature. Any nodes can join and leave the network at any time. Hence any type of intruders can attack the communication at any time, especially the routing mechanism between the nodes. In this study, we study and understand two types of attacks which cause more damage to the routing performance of MANET; the

Modulating Oxide‐Based Quantum Materials by Ion Implantation
This review highlights how ion implantation, a well developed chip‐technology, enables targeted modulation of oxide‐based quantum materials. This includes tuning of metal‐insulator transitions, magnetism, and superconductivity through selective doping, defect creation, and induced lattice strain. Abstract Ion implantation has emerged as a powerful tool

Primordial black holes and wormholes from domain wall networks
Domain walls (DWs) are topological defects originating from phase transitions in the early Universe. In the presence of an energy imbalance between distinct vacua, enclosed DW cavities shrink until the entire network disappears. By studying the dynamics of thin-shell bubbles in general relativity, we demonstrate that closed DWs with sizes exceeding the

Effect of Black Hole Attacks on Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) establish a new popular of ambient supervision with many latent packages. The environment of wireless sensor networks prone to different forms of attacks as networks are prepared in open and unsecured surroundings. This paper analyses the overall performance of AODV whilst attacked by black hole, through varying the ...

Parameter estimates in binary black hole collisions using neural networks [PDF]
We present an algorithm based on artificial neural networks (ANNs), that estimates the mass ratio in a binary black hole collision out of given Gravitational Wave (GW) strains. In this analysis, the ANN is trained with a sample of GW signals generated with numerical simulations.

This study evaluates the scalability of PQD GNC‐based LSCs for BIPV applications. Experimental data and Monte Carlo simulations predict performance up to 1 m2, achieving a peak power conversion efficiency of 3.17%. The results confirm the viability of these LSCs for energy‐efficient building applications.
