Black hole solutions in R 2 gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2015
We find static spherically symmetric solutions of scale invariant $R^2$ gravity. The latter has been shown to be equivalent to General Relativity with a positive cosmological constant and a scalar mode. Therefore, one expects that solutions of the $R^2$ theory will be identical to that of Einstein theory.

Schwarzschild-Levi-Civita black hole

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
Inspired by the geometry of the Ernst black hole which interpolates the static spherically symmetric Schwarzschild black hole and the static axially symmetric magnetic Melvin spacetime, in this paper, we aim to present a solution to Einstein's field ...

Binary black hole in a double magnetic monopole field

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
Ambient magnetic fields are thought to play a critical role in black hole jet formation. Furthermore, dual electromagnetic signals could be produced during the inspiral and merger of binary black hole systems.

MULTI-BLACK HOLES SOLUTION WITH COSMIC STRINGS

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2004
Some black hole-cosmic string models such as Reissner–Nordström, RN–de Sitter, Kerr–Newman and multi-black holes with cosmic string are given. Energy and angular momentum of a timelike particle in circular orbits in multi-black hole space–time are calculated.

BTZ black holes in massive gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
We analyze certain aspects of BTZ black holes in massive theory of gravity. The black hole solution is obtained by using the Vainshtein and dRGT mechanism, which is asymptotically AdS with an electric charge.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Ergosphere and shadow of a rotating regular black hole

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
The spacetime singularities in classical general relativity predicted by the celebrated singularity theorems are formed at the end of gravitational collapse.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
