Hawking radiation power equations for black holes
We derive the Hawking radiation power equations for black holes in asymptotically flat, asymptotically Anti-de Sitter (AdS) and asymptotically de Sitter (dS) black holes. This is done by using the greybody factor for these black holes.

Smooth supergravity solutions and string states [PDF]
In this thesis we study smooth supergravity solutions and their relation to string theory in two different contexts; quotient spaces and asymptotically flat solitonic solutions.

Abstract We give a new derivation for the properties of radiation appearing to an observer bounded in a space-time domain that has a horizon; this includes the Rindler case (constant accelerating frame) and the Schwarzschild solution (black hole). Because of the global nature of the quantum state, which inevitably extends to space beyond the horizon,

Black Hole Accretion and Spin-up through Stellar Collisions in Dense Star Clusters
Dynamical interactions in dense star clusters could significantly influence the properties of black holes, leaving imprints on their gravitational-wave signatures.

Phase transition and heat engine efficiency of phantom AdS black holes
Phase transition and heat engine efficiency of phantom AdS black holes are investigated with peculiar properties found. In the non-extended phase space, we probe the possibility of T–S criticality in both the canonical ensemble and grand-canonical ...

Comment on “Black Hole Entropy: A Closer Look”
In a recent paper (Entropy 2020, 22(1), 17), Tsallis states that entropy—as in Shannon or Kullback–Leiber’s definitions—is inadequate to interpret black hole entropy and suggests that a new non-additive functional should take the role of entropy. Here we

Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry show that MoS2‐bulk undergoes solvent co‐intercalation in diglyme electrolyte, causing large structural expansion, while pillared, expanded MoS2 suppresses solvent uptake

Topological dyonic black holes of massive gravity with generalized quasitopological electromagnetism
In this paper we investigate new dyonic black holes of massive gravity sourced by generalized quasitopological electromagnetism in arbitrary dimensions. We begin by deriving the exact solution to the field equations defining these black holes and look at

Thermal duality: nemesis of black holes?
This talk presents evidence supporting a conjecture that there are no black holes in M theory. We will show that a mechanism to prevent black hole formation is needed in 4 dimensions to make string theory a viable high energy model of quantum gravity ...
