Proof of concept of black liquor valorisation by partial wet oxidation [PDF]
In today's pulp and paper industries, large quantities of black liquor are produced when wood or non-wood lignocellulosic feedstocks are digested with cooking chemicals to separate cellulose fibres from lignin, hemicellulose and other degraded components.

Influence of Dynamical Friction on the Unstable Manifolds of Lagrange Points in Barred Galaxies
ABSTRACT Some time ago the idea has been proposed that rings and spirals in barred galaxies are shaped by the unstable manifolds of the Lagrange points sitting near the ends of the bar. The topic of the present article is an investigation of whether the numerical support for this suggestion can be improved by the inclusion of dynamical friction into ...

NiFe‐NO3 Layered Double Hydroxide as a Novel Anode for Sodium Ion Batteries
This study demonstrates, for the first time, the effectiveness of using LDH as an anodic material in SIB. The material is stable and show high specific capacity, the reaction mechanism has been thoroughly investigated and comprehensively described and involves a phase change reaction followed by sodium intercalation.

Integrated biorefinery for cellulosic ethanol and spherical nanolignin production from coconut waste
Abstract Green coconut waste was subjected to different fractionation methods to obtain integrated lignin nanoparticles and cellulosic ethanol. Pretreatment with gradual addition of dilute sulfuric acid provided a higher structural hemicellulose precursor yield (68.2%).
