Extraction of Anthocyanins from Black Bean Canning Wastewater with Macroporous Resins

Journal of Food Science, 2014
Abstract This study investigated purification of anthocyanins from black bean canning wastewater by column chromatography with 5 types of macroporous resins (Diaion Hp20, Sepabeads Sp70, Sepabeads Sp207, Sepabeads Sp700, and Sepabeads Sp710).

Effect of carbon black concentration on electrical conductivity of epoxy resin–carbon black–silica nanocomposites

Journal of Materials Science, 2007
This work presents an insight into the conductivity-carbon black (CB) concentration relationship of nanocomposites. High conductivity is observed above 14% CB loading (% on mass of epoxy resin), indicating the generation of conductive networks throughout the nanocomposites.

Electric properties of carbon black‐epoxy resin composites at microwave frequencies

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1996
This present paper is a study of the dielectric behavior of carbon black–epoxy resin composites at the microwave frequencies 9.5 and 35 GHz. The results of this research have shown that the complex propagation constant γg for these mediums depends on the frequency F, on the volume concentration ϕ of the conducting medium, and on the particle size ...

Microwave propagation through carbon black-epoxy resin composites

Journal of Materials Science Letters, 1995
Research that has been recently carried out on t h e dielectric behaviour of conductor-insulator composite systems in the microwave domain has shown that the complex permivitty e* = e ' j e " depends strongly on the nature and the concentration of the conducting medium [1-4].

Electric conduction in the polyester resin-acetylene carbon black system

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1976
Compositions with a relatively high electrical conductivity and small carbon black concentration are obtained by polymerization of monomers mixture and acetylene carbon black. An considerable influence of polymerization conditions on the electrical conductivity of these compositions are ascertained.

Resistor and dielectric properties of carbon‐black epoxy resin composites

Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part II: Electronics), 1992
AbstractIn this paper, the change in carbon black (CB) coherence with CB loading in CB resin composites has been studied from the viewpoint of resistance characteristics (resistivity, temperature coefficient of resistance) and dielectric properties by using HS 500 as CB.

Carbon Black Selective Dispersion and Electrical Properties of Epoxy Resin/Polystyrene/Carbon Black Ternary Composites

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Carbon black (CB) selective dispersion and conductive properties of immiscible thermoplastic/thermosetting polymer blends consisting of polystyrene (PS) and epoxy resin (EP) were investigated in this paper. The results showed that CB particles are preferentially localized in EP phase in PS/EP blends. The blend with 10 pbw (parts by weight) PS presented

ESR and electrical conductivity of carbon black doped polyester resin

Acta Polymerica, 1979
AbstractThe dependence between paramagnetic centre concentration, as well as ESR spectral line width and electrical conductivity of a polyester resin doped with various admixtures of acetyelene carbon black has been investigated. Distinct correlations have been found between ESR spectrum and electrical conductivity of the resin as a function of ...

Preparation and Properties of Nanocomposites Consist of Carbon Black N220 and Epoxy Resin

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
The nanometer carbon black (CB) N220 of different content was employed to prepare carbon black N220/epoxy resin (CB N220/EP) composites by filling-mixing method. The structure of CB N220 and its dispersion in epoxy resin were analyzed by TEM and tensile fracture surface of the composites was analyzed by SEM. Experimental results showed that CB N220 was
