Staff Preferences for Operating Theatre Scrub Attire
A Children's Hospital operating theatre staff survey showed preferences for dark blue over light blue scrubs, and those with an elastic waistband and trouser style pockets. Thematic reasons include: comfort/fit/availability, professionalism, functionality/practicality, dignity/self‐esteem, modesty/privacy, stains/sweat/dirt and safety.

CT Versus Ultrasound in Young Women With Right Iliac Fossa Pain: A Single‐Centre Retrospective Study
In young women with right iliac fossa pain, CTs have a higher positive predictive value for appendicitis than ultrasounds. They also correlate better with raised inflammatory markers. CT could reduce the rate of unnecessary appendicectomies in young women in those without clear clinical signs and symptoms.

Surgeon point‐of‐view recording is an accessible adjunct for surgical education in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Across 35 respondents, smart‐glasses footage was rated highly for quality and near‐universally endorsed as an effective way to teach and review technique.
