I knew that cancer of the bladder accounted for 3 percent of the total cancer death rate, and that these deaths resulted from ureteral obstruction, infection, uremia, and metastases.

Endocervicosis of the Bladder

We report a case of endocervicosis of the bladder. The tumor was successfully resected transurethrally. Histopathology of this rare condition is discussed and the literature is reviewed. The natural course of this entity is poorly documented and close followup is mandatory.

Bladder Granulomata after Bladder Surgery

Bladder granulomata were found in 17 (3%) of 539 patients who had bladder biopsy or resection. The finding of granulomata in 13.6% of patients who had at least two surgical procedures, but never in the first biopsy specimen of any patient was highly significant statistically (P much less than 0.001).
