This work presents π–conjugated polymers based on dihydropyrazine (DHP) and ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), developed to produce highly conductive, flexible films for printed electronics. By optimizing the DHP and EDOT ratio, strong and compact π–π stacking is achieved, resulting in polymer films with conductivities up to 1700 S cm−1 under ambient ...

Optimal design of wind turbine blades equipped with flaps [PDF]
As a result of the significant growth of wind turbines in size, blade load control has become the main challenge for large wind turbines. Many advanced techniques have been investigated aiming at developing control devices to ease blade loading.

Oct4‐nanoscript, a biomimetic nanoparticle‐based artificial transcription factor, precisely regulates cellular rejuvenation by activating Oct4 target genes, restoring epigenetic marks, and reducing DNA damage. In a progeria model, it effectively rescued aging‐associated pathologies and extended lifespan.

A scalable nano‐/micro‐confinement strategy is developed, where polyacrylamide (PAM)‐LiCl hybrid desiccants are confined within hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) and assembled into raspberry‐like microbeads. The beads have a hydrogel‐rich core and an NP‐rich shell for fast absorption and desorption, releasing water 13.6 L kg⁻¹ day⁻¹.

A Universal Way to Manipulate Droplet via Light‐Fueled Thermocapillary Convection
A non‐contact light‐induced droplet manipulation strategy fueled by mid‐infrared (MIR) light irradiation is introduced. No additional additives and/or complex substrate are required. Here, thermocapillary convection, directly generated by temperature gradient at outer surface of droplet via localized surface heating, plays a key role to propel the ...

Predicting the wake structure of the HART II rotor using the vorticity transport model [PDF]
Brown’s Vorticity Transport Model has been used to predict the wake structure and resultant blade loading of the rotor that was studied during the HART II experimental programme. The descending flight condition of the experiment yields significant high-

DETACHABLE SCALPEL BLADE [PDF]
In attempting to use safety-razor blades in surgical work I hfound a stock razor bladazorth ade with a straight cutting edge is not practical. Such a blade if held in the usual position will have only the distal corner in contact with the flesh and will tear rather than cut, especially if used in theideeper parts of a wound.

Graft Copolymer‐Stabilized Liquid Metal Nanoparticles for Lithium‐Ion Battery Self‐Healing Anodes
This study presents a self‐healing liquid metal anode for lithium‐ion batteries, where graft copolymer‐stabilized eutectic gallium indium (EGaIn) nanoparticles enhance stability and rate performance. The fluorinated grafted copolymer forms ionic channels, preventing EGaIn aggregation and facilitating lithium‐ion migration.
