Optimal Design Method for Wind Turbine Blades Considering Aerofoil of Cross-section
Most traditional methods for optimizing the blade design have no consideration on the aerofoils of cross-section, which makes the blade design difficult to achieve the optimal solution.

A Rapid Blade-to-Blade Solution for Use in Turbomachinery Design [PDF]
A rapid technique for solving the blade-to-blade turbomachinery flow problem has been developed. Approximate governing flow equations, which include the effects of compressibility, radius change, rotation, and variable stream sheet thickness are solved using an improved panel method. The development and solution of these equations are described. Sample

Effect of Air-Ducted Blade Design on Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Performance
Wind turbines without pitch control are more preferable from economical point of view but aerodynamic stall affects them more and after a critical wind speed local boundary layer separation occurs.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Fabricated of Vertical Axis wind turbine (VAWT) and study the parameter
Due to the lack of electric power in areas away from power transmission lines and high prices of conventional fuel due to high pollution. A vertical system is used which depends on wind energy used to rotate a vertical turbine.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

A software tool for blade design
An interactive software tool for blade design of axial flow machines was created. It is written as an extension module to the open-source software FreeCAD. In its graphical interface, the user can modify the blade profiles, stack them to create the whole blade and generate end walls and other stage features.
