The paper presents full-scale blade tests under a combined flap- and edgewise loading. The mainaim of this paper is to present the results from testing a wind turbine blade under such conditionsand to study the structural behavior of the blade subjected to combined loading.

The results of a wind tunnel investigation of a model rotor with a free tip [PDF]
The results of a wind-tunnel test of the free tip rotor are presented. The free tip extended over the outer 10% of the rotor blade and included a simple, passive controller mechanism. Wind-tunnel test hardware is described.

The Mod-0 100 kW experimental wind turbine was tested to determine the effects of yaw on rotor power, blade loads and teeter response. The wind turbine was operated for extended periods at yaw angles up to 49 deg to define average or mean response to yaw.
