Zero sets of interpolating Blaschke products [PDF]
Let \(H^{\infty}\) be the space of boundary functions of bounded analytic functions on the open unit disk. For a function h in \(H^{\infty}\), Z(h) denotes the zero set of h in the maximal ideal space of \(H^{\infty}+C\). It is well known that if b is an interpolating Blaschke product then Z(b) is an interpolation set for \(H^{\infty}\).

Financialisation and the (De‐)Unionisation of Workers in Portugal
ABSTRACT Over the last five decades, the degree of unionisation of workers has been decreasing and, therefore, by inadvertently accepting the deterioration of labour relations, the loss of labour rights, and the increase in the exploitation of labour all over the world, workers have not genuinely contested the neoliberal agenda and the deregulation and

Desert pavements: A hidden key to Earth surface processes
Desert pavements are a global phenomenon in arid environments, representing one of the most extensive geomorphological and geoecological features on Earth. To a large extent, they determine the interplay of key processes governing current and past landscape dynamics.

Spectral-Variation Bounds in Hyperbolic Geometry
We derive new estimates for distances between optimal matchings of eigenvalues of non-normal matrices in terms of the norm of their difference. We introduce and estimate a hyperbolic metric analogue of the classical spectral-variation distance.

How to indigenise the blue economy in Aotearoa New Zealand
ABSTRACT Māori, as substantial stakeholders in the fishery sector, must play a major role in any imagined or proposed transition to a blue economy. This paper provides the results from a project examining how to indigenise the blue economy in Aotearoa New Zealand, outlining the underlying theory and providing results from five case studies.

ABSTRACT Flooding poses a persistent challenge in Bangladesh, where complete prevention remains difficult due to its geographical and climatic conditions. This study integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques to create a detailed flood susceptibility map for the Sylhet division in northern ...

Poncelet's Theorem, Paraorthogonal Polynomials and the Numerical Range of Compressed Multiplication Operators [PDF]
There has been considerable recent literature connecting Poncelet's theorem to ellipses, Blaschke products and numerical ranges, summarized, for example, in the recent book [11].

Validating DSGE Models Through SVARs Under Imperfect Information
ABSTRACT We study the ability of SVARs to match impulse responses of a well‐established DSGE model where the information of agents can be imperfect. We derive conditions for the solution of a linearized NK‐DSGE model to be invertible given this information set. In the absence of invertibility, an approximate measure is constructed. An SVAR is estimated
