Evaluation of shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets bonded on the tooth surface after internal bleaching

open access: yesRevista de Odontologia da UNESP
Introduction: There is great demand for esthetic treatment by patients who have discolored teeth, because currently aesthetic standards have become stricter and many patients have tooth bleaching procedures performed before or during orthodontic ...

Biological action of bleaching agents on tooth structure: A review [PDF]

open access: yes
The use of bleaching agents to remove stains is one of the main dental procedures to improve the aesthetics of teeth. This review presents the main agents used for tooth whitening, existing clinical protocols, and the structural changes that may ...

Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveals Immunomodulatory and Pro‐Regenerative Effects of a Graphene Oxide–Collagen Scaffold in Massive Rotator Cuff Tears

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,

Fine‐Tuned Regulation of mRNA Translation and Transport by STAU2 Condensate Facilitates Neuronal Development and Plasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
STAU2 undergoes phase separation to form dynamic condensates that package target mRNAs and deliver them to the distal ends of growing neuronal dendrites. STAU2 condensates stabilize embedded mRNAs and repress their translation. Synaptic activity bidirectionally remodels STAU2 condensates, coordinating local translation of STAU2‐associated mRNAs ...

In vitro evaluation of the cytotoxicity of a bleaching agent [PDF]

open access: yesDental Traumatology, 1998
Abstract— Cell cultures of L929 and BHK21/C13 cells were used to evaluate the toxicity of a newly introduced bleaching agent (Colgate Platinum) compared to hydrogen peroxide, an established bleaching agent. The cell reaction was determined by a quantitative technique at 24 h and 72 h.

One‐Step, High‐Removal‐Rate and Low‐Damage Chemical Mechanical Polishing of InP Enabled by Hydrolysis Activated PF6− with In Situ Fluoride Passivation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, we propose a CMP method for InP using NH4PF₆, which hydrolyzes under In3+ catalysis to form reactive species. These convert InP into low‐binding‐energy fluorides, facilitating removal and dissolution. The process delivers high material removal rates, smooth surfaces, and fluorine passivation that lowers defect density and improves ...

Dual‐Mode Type I/II Photosensitization of a Stable Mesoporous Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Framework for Antibacterial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A π‐conjugated donor–acceptor PDI monomer undergoes hydrogen‐bonded self‐assembly to form a robust mesoporous framework. The ordered molecular arrangement promotes efficient intersystem crossing and charge separation, leading to simultaneous Type I and Type II reactive oxygen species generation with a high singlet oxygen quantum yield.
