Relaxation properties of polyoxymethylene and ethylene–octene copolymer blend in solid and melt states; pp. 200–206 [PDF]
Rheological properties of polyoxymethylene (POM) and ethyleneâoctene copolymer (EOC) in solid and melt states were investigated. Blends were prepared with a twin screw extruder at broad component wt-to-wt ratios (10, 30, 50, 70, 90Â wt% of EOC).

Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.

The formation of nonmetallic inclusions (NMIs) was investigated in this study, carrying out immersion tests for 30 min at a temperature of 1600°C with liquid high‐silicon electrical steel (Si ≈ 3 mass‐%) and different MgO–C refractories. Conventional MgO–C refractories were considered, as well as MgO–C refractories containing MgO–C recyclate and ...

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Efeito da adição de PHB na cristalização a frio do PET Effect of PHB on cold crystallization of PET
O presente trabalho investigou o efeito da adição de baixas concentrações (0,5 e 1,0%) de poli(3-hidroxibutirato) (PHB) na cristalização isotérmica a frio do poli(tereftalato de etileno) (PET).
