Cerium Nanoparticle‐Mediated Inhibition of the NSUN2/m5C Axis Suppresses Synovial Aggression in Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel epitranscriptomic mechanism in rheumatoid arthritis is uncovered: NSUN2 promotes disease via m5C‐dependent stabilization of ICMT mRNA, fueling the migration and invasion of pathogenic RA FLS. Targeting this axis with engineered nanoparticles (Ce/SAA NPs) effectively inhibits disease progression, presenting a precise therapeutic strategy ...

Blind deconvolution by self-organization [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of International Conference on Neural Networks (ICNN'97), 2002
In this paper, we devise a self-organizing network to solve both the unknown system and unknown input in blind deconvolution of blurred images. We utilize a criterion function which has a similar form as the Kullback-Leibler cross information formula to adapt the network's weights to approach the unknown system function.

CA9‐Targeted PET Imaging for Noninvasive Discrimination of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma and Associated Tumor Biological Features

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CA9‐targeted PET imaging could be a noninvasive approach to characterize clear cell renal cell carcinoma and associated tumor biology. PET uptake correlates with tumor CA9 expression and is linked to angiogenic activity, immune remodeling, and metabolic reprogramming.

Rolling element bearing fault diagnostics using the blind deconvolution technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Bearing failure is one of the foremost causes of breakdown in rotating machinery. Such failure can be catastrophic and can result in costly downtime. Bearing condition monitoring has thus played an important role in machine maintenance.

A comparative study of two blind FIR equalizers

open access: yes, 2004
The paper investigates blind finite-impulse-response (FIR) equalization schemes for quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signalling. We compare a bootstrap maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) equalizer with a recently introduced concurrent constant ...

Aberrant GRP78 Phase Transition Sustains Endothelial IRE1α Signaling and Drives Blood–Brain Barrier Failure in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vascular Aβ40 corrupts GRP78 phase behavior in brain endothelial cells, sustaining IRE1α–TRAF2–JNK signaling and driving apoptosis, tight junction loss, and blood–brain barrier failure in cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Pharmacological IRE1α inhibition restores vascular integrity, reduces leakage, and improves functional outcomes, revealing a targetable ...

A Clearer Picture of Blind Deconvolution

open access: yesCoRR, 2014
Blind deconvolution is the problem of recovering a sharp image and a blur kernel from a noisy blurry image. Recently, there has been a significant effort on understanding the basic mechanisms to solve blind deconvolution. While this effort resulted in the deployment of effective algorithms, the theoretical findings generated contrasting views on why ...

AI Designed Conformation Locking Peptides Target STING to Restore Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A generative AI pipeline identifies SCP‐1, a conformation‐locking peptide that stabilizes inactive STING. Incorporated into a dual‐responsive hydrogel for localized, MMP‐9‐triggered release, SCP‐1 suppresses inflammation, promotes reparative macrophage polarization, and accelerates diabetic wound healing.

Adaptive Operator-Based Spectral Deconvolution With the Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm

open access: yesPhotonic Sensors, 2019
Spectral distortion often occurs in spectral data due to the influence of the bandpass function of the spectrometer. Spectral deconvolution is an effective restoration method to solve this problem. Based on the theory of the maximum posteriori estimation,

Comparison of multichannel signal deconvolution algorithms in airborne LiDAR bathymetry based on wavelet transform

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Airborne LiDAR bathymetry offers low cost and high mobility, making it an ideal option for shallow-water measurements. However, due to differences in the measurement environment and the laser emission channel, the received waveform is difficult to ...
