Single channel blind source separation of complex signals based on spatial‐temporal fusion deep learning

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2023
Blind Source Separation (BSS) of complex signals composed of radar, communication and jamming signals is the first step in an integrated electronic system, which requires higher accuracy of separation. However, the traditional Single‐Channel Blind Source

A blind separation method for chaotic signals

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2007
Separation of multiple mixing chaotic signals is an important issue in chaos and its applications. An instantaneous blind separation method for linearly mixed chaotic signals is proposed in this paper, in which the uncorrelation characteristics of chaotic signals are utilized.

Sparse and Non-Negative BSS for Noisy Data

open access: yes, 2013
Non-negative blind source separation (BSS) has raised interest in various fields of research, as testified by the wide literature on the topic of non-negative matrix factorization (NMF). In this context, it is fundamental that the sources to be estimated

BMP antagonist CHRDL2 enhances the cancer stem‐cell phenotype and increases chemotherapy resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Overexpression of CHRDL2 in colon cancer cells makes them more stem‐like and resistant to chemo‐ and radiotherapy. CHRDL2‐high cells have upregulation of the WNT pathway, genes involved in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). This leads to quicker repair of damaged DNA and more cell migration.

A Sparse Underdetermined Blind Source Separation Method and Its Application in Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machinery

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
Rolling element bearing is one of the most commonly used supporting parts in rotating machinery, and it is also one of the most easily failing rotating parts.

Blind signal separation and identification of mixtures of images [PDF]

open access: yes2009 Conference Record of the Forty-Third Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2009
In this paper, a fresh procedure to handle image mixtures by means of blind signal separation relying on a combination of second order and higher order statistics techniques are introduced. The problem of blind signal separation is reassigned to the wavelet domain. The key idea behind this method is that the image mixture can be decomposed into the sum

Simultaneous inhibition of TRIM24 and TRIM28 sensitises prostate cancer cells to antiandrogen therapy, decreasing VEGF signalling and angiogenesis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
TRIM24 and TRIM28 are androgen receptor (AR) coregulators which exhibit increased expression with cancer progression. Both TRIM24 and TRIM28 combine to influence the response of castrate‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) cells to AR inhibitors by mediating AR signalling, regulation of MYC and upregulating VEGF to promote angiogenesis. Castrate‐resistant
