Fair Blind Signatures Revisited

2007
This paper presents a formal model for fair blind signature schemes and a provably secure scheme based on bilinear maps. A blind signature scheme is a protocol for obtaining a signature on a message which is unknown from the signer. Furthermore, the signer cannot link his transcript of a protocol to the resulting message-signature pair.

On blind signatures and perfect crimes

Computers & Security, 1992
David Chaum has introduced the idea of blind signatures, an extension of the concept of digital signatures, as a way to protect the identity and privacy of a user in electronic payment and service networks. Blind signatures also prevent so-called ''dossier creation'' about users by organizations.

How to date blind signatures

1996
A blind signature provides perfect confidentiality to a message and signature pair. Due to this feature, the blind signature has one downside; the signer can not assure himself that the blinded message accurately contains the information he desires. In a practical sense, it is essential for the signer to include some term of validity in the signing ...

Cryptoanlaysis of a Self-Certified Partially Blind Signature and a Proxy Blind Signature

2009 WASE International Conference on Information Engineering, 2009
As a special digital signature, blind signature allowsallows a user to get a signature without giving the signerany information about the actual message or the resultingsignature. Unforgeability is an important property of blindsignature, it assures that any one cannot produce a forgedsignature on a message in a blind signature except thesigner ...

Unconditionally Secure Blind Signatures

2009
The blind signature scheme introduced by Chaum allows a user to obtain a valid signature for a message from a signer such that the message is kept secret for the signer. Blind signature schemes have mainly been studied from a viewpoint of computational security so far. In this paper, we study blind signatures in unconditional setting.

Cryptoanalysis of Certificateless Partially Blind Signature and Proxy Blind Signature Scheme

2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2009
Blind signature and proxy signature are two im- portant crytographical primitives. Unforgeability is a primitive property of digital signature, it assures that any one cannot produce a forged signature on a message except the signer. However, blindness is an important property which distinguish with other signatures.

ID-Based Blind Signature and Proxy Blind Signature without Trusted PKG

2008
Private key escrow is an inherent disadvantage for ID-based cryptosystem, i.e., the PKG knows each signer’s private key and can forge the signature of any signer. Blind signature plays a central role in electronic cash system. Private key escrow is more severe in electronic cash system since money is directly involved.

Blind Signatures for Untraceable Payments

1983
Automation of the way we pay for goods and services is already underway, as can be seen by the variety and growth of electronic banking services available to consumers. The ultimate structure of the new electronic payments system may have a substantial impact on personal privacy as well as on the nature and extent of criminal use of payments. Ideally a

Round-Optimal Blind Signatures from Waters Signatures

2008
We present a round-optimal blind signature scheme based on Waters' signature scheme. Our construction resembles that of Fischlin [10], but does not rely on generic non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs. In addition to a common reference string, our scheme requires a registered public key for the signer.
