A Proof‐of‐Concept Assessment of a Novel Wearable Eyelid Muscle Device: A Pre‐Clinical Animal Cadaver Study for Eyelid Closure Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

MoESR: Blind Super-Resolution using Kernel-Aware Mixture of Experts

open access: yes, 2022
Modern deep learning super-resolution approaches have achieved remarkable performance where the low-resolution (LR) input is a degraded high-resolution (HR) image by a fixed known kernel i.e. kernel-specific super-resolution (SR).

GPR124 Alleviates Blood–Brain Barrier Disruption by Enhancing Microvascular Endothelial Function after Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study reveals the protective role of GPR124 in maintaining BBB integrity and promoting neurological recovery following TBI. It makes a significant contribution by uncovering a novel molecular interaction between GPR124 and FGFBP1 and linking this to activation of the Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway in vascular repair mechanisms.

BD-VITGAN: a blind dense VITGAN for satellite remote sensing images super-resolution reconstruction

open access: yesGeo-spatial Information Science
High-resolution (HR) remote sensing images contain valuable information, and drone imagery typically offers higher resolution than satellite images. However, UAVs face challenges in cost and resource consumption when covering large areas.

Modulation of miR‐23b Wnt/β‐catenin Axis Strengthens Endothelial Barrier Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Early blood‐brain barrier (BBB) disruption contributes to stroke and CNS disease pathology. miR‐23b was identified as a regulator of BBB integrity in brain endothelial cells. Inhibition of miR‐23b enhanced barrier‐associated properties, promoted repair‐related signaling, and reduced BBB leakage in experimental stroke models, supporting further ...

A blind image super-resolution network guided by kernel estimation and structural prior knowledge

open access: yesScientific Reports
The goal of blind image super-resolution (BISR) is to recover the corresponding high-resolution image from a given low-resolution image with unknown degradation.

From Blind deconvolution to Blind Super-Resolution through convex programming

open access: yesCoRR, 2017
This paper discusses the recovery of an unknown signal $x\in \mathbb{R}^L$ through the result of its convolution with an unknown filter $h \in \mathbb{R}^L$. This problem, also known as blind deconvolution, has been studied extensively by the signal processing and applied mathematics communities, leading to a diversity of proofs and algorithms based on

UDP‐Glucose‐6‐Dehydrogenase Mediated O‐GlcNAcylation of Tight Junction Protein 1 Suppresses Metastasis in Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our research unveiled a regulatory paradigm wherein TRIM25 orchestrates the ubiquitin‐mediated degradation of UGDH. UGDH modulates the protein stability of TJP1 by regulating O‐GlcNAcylation levels, effectively impeding the metastasis of ccRCC. Our insights elevate UGDH to a pivotal biomarker and tumor suppressor, marking the first demonstration that ...
