Optimal barrel cutter selection for the CNC machining of blisk

Computer-Aided Design, 2014
Abstract Barrel cutters have been widely used in the flank milling of blisk. In this paper, a new method is proposed to select an optimal barrel cutter in the interest of the high productivity in the CNC machining of blisk. The geometric properties and location of four types of barrel cutters are firstly introduced.

Failure of turbine rotor blisk of an aircraft engine

Engineering Failure Analysis, 2002
Abstract Cracks were observed at the trailing edge of the blades of a turbine rotor blisk of a gas turbine engine during inspection following an endurance test. The integrally bladed disk was made of Mar-M-247 alloy, cast and hipped. Visual inspection, micro and macro fractography, and metallography of the failed blades indicated that the failure was

Vibration Analysis of a Mistuned Axial Turbine Blisk

Volume 7B: Structures and Dynamics, 2019
Abstract An axial turbine blisk for turbocharger applications is analyzed with respect to the effect of intentional mistuning on the forced response. Originally, the intentional mistuning pattern has been designed by employing a genetic algorithm optimization in order to reduce the forced response caused by low engine order excitation ...

Models for blisks with large blends and small mistuning

Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2017
Abstract Small deviations of the structural properties of individual sectors of blisks, referred to as mistuning, can lead to localization of vibration energy and drastically increased forced responses. Similar phenomena are observed in blisks with large damages or repair blends. Such deviations are best studied statistically because they are random.

Mistuning identification of blisk based on antiresonance

Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing
Differences between blades in aero-engine blisks, known as mistuning, can lead to vibration localization and amplified dynamic response, ultimately resulting in high-cycle fatigue failure. Accurate mistuning identification is essential for predicting such vibration amplification but remains challenging due to blade-disc coupling effects in conventional

Forced Response Analysis of a Mistuned Compressor Blisk

Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power, 2013
The forced response of an E3E-type high pressure compressor (HPC) blisk front rotor is analyzed with regard to varying mistuning and the consideration of the fluid-structure interaction (FSI). For that purpose, a reduced order model is used in which the disk remains unchanged and mechanical properties of the blades, namely stiffness and damping, are ...

Pogled, trenutek, blisk

2004
Odgovor najdemo
