Side Chain Elimination Enables Low‐Cost Fused‐Ring Acceptors and Reveals a Compact Tetrameric Structure for High‐Photocurrent Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
β‐side chain elimination enables cost‐effective fused‐ring acceptors, JSM5 and JSM6, with simplified synthesis. The observed compact tetrameric structures induced by S···N intermolecular interactions lead to 3D charge transport and enhance intermolecular connectivity, delivering high short‐circuit current density up to 28 mA cm−2, a step closer to the ...

A problem on spaces of holomorphic maps and the geometry of image domains

open access: yesConcrete Operators
We present an old problem in Geometric Function Theory: characterizing the domains Ω⊂C ${\Omega}\subset \mathbb{C}$ for which every holomorphic map from the unit disk into Ω must belong to a specific function space X.

Bias‐Engineered Synthetic Antiferromagnets Hosting Sub‐20 nm Zero‐Field Skyrmions at Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully compensated synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) multilayer exhibits a uniform state at zero field, without skyrmions. We use a SAF bias system to provide RKKY‐mediated exchange bias to the SAF multilayer, promoting zero‐field skyrmion stabilization and polarity control.

Besov-type characterisations for the Bloch space [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1989
We will prove local and global Besov-type characterisations for the Bloch space and the little Bloch space. As a special case we obtain that the Bloch space consists of those analytic functions on the unit disc whose restrictions to pseudo-hyperbolic discs (of fixed pseudo-hyperbolic radius) uniformly belong to the Besov space.

Description of Bloch spaces, weighted Bergman spaces and invariant subspaces, and related questions

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2016
Let D be the unit disc of complex plane C, and H=Hol(D) the class of functions analytic in D. Recall that an f∈Hol(D) is said to belong to the Bloch space B=B(D) if ‖f‖_{B}:=sup_{z∈D}(1-|z|²)|f′(z)|

Unconventional Hysteretic Charge Filling in Moiré‐Reconstructed Helical Trilayer Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In helical trilayer graphene, sequential twisting reconstructs the moiré landscape into periodic domains separated by aperiodic boundaries. Longitudinal transport reveals sweep‐direction‐dependent hysteresis, while the Hall response traces this behavior to hysteretic charge filling at the aperiodic boundaries.

Full-Bloch beams and ultrafast Rabi-rotating vortices

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
Strongly coupled quantum fields, such as multicomponent atomic condensates, optical fields, and polaritons, are remarkable systems where the simple dynamics of coupled oscillators can meet the intricate phenomenology of quantum fluids.

Essential norm of weighted composition operators from the Bloch space and the Zygmund space to the Bloch space

open access: yesFilomat, 2018
In this paper, we give some estimates for the essential norm of weighted composition operators from the Bloch space and the Zygmund space to the Bloch space.

Isometries on Products of Composition and Integral Operators on Bloch Type Space

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
We characterize the isometries on the products of composition and integral operators on the Bloch type space in the disk.

3‐Deoxy‐3‐Fluoro Mannuronic Acid Alginates: Stereoselective Automated Synthesis and Conformational Behaviour

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The impact of C‐3 fluorination on the synthesis and conformation of alginate oligosaccharides is investigated. A C‐3‐fluoro mannuronic acid building block is generated and shown to react with high β‐selectivity. Automated glycan assembly enables access to uniquely fluorinated mannuronic acid alginates where deoxyfluorination is shown not to perturb the
