Gas-tight triblock-copolymer membranes are converted to CO2 permeable by insertion of plant aquaporins [PDF]
We demonstrate that membranes consisting of certain triblock-copolymers were tight for CO2. Using a novel approach, we provide evidence for aquaporin facilitated CO2 diffusion.

Mesoblends consist of a nanostructured polymer into which a second polymer is imbibed with a selective solvent. In this work, a solvent‐templatable pentablock terpolymer possessing a sulfonated midblock is modified with a hydrophilic polymer that is photocrosslinked in situ, yielding a hierarchical binetwork.

Protein-Based Block Copolymers [PDF]
Advances in genetic engineering have led to the synthesis of protein-based block copolymers with control of chemistry and molecular weight, resulting in unique physical and biological properties. The benefits from incorporating peptide blocks into copolymer designs arise from the fundamental properties of proteins to adopt ordered conformations and to ...

ABA Amphiphilic block copolymers with comb-like segments from ATRP: Self-assembly in aqueous and electrolyte solutions [PDF]
Amphiphilic block copolymers (BCs) can self-organize into various aggregates morphologies in solution where the solvent is selective for one of the blocks. The size and the shape of these various molecular assemblies depends on the balance of hydrophilic

ABCD Block Copolymers Using a Multistate Aluminum Complex
A ferrocene aluminum compound (salfan-H2)Al(OiPr) (salfan-H2 = 1,1’-di(2,4-bis-tert-butyl-salicylamino)ferrocene), with adjustable redox and protonation characteristics, has been synthesized and characterized, and serves as a switchable cata-lyst for ...

A thermo‐responsive poly(2‐oxazoline)‐based injectable formulation is developed to modulate intraocular pressure (IOP) in both normal and hypotonic eyes. By adjusting the PEG content, the aggregation behavior is finely tuned, enabling IOP elevation without long‐term deposition.
