Enabling computation of correlation bounds for finite-dimensional quantum systems via symmetrisation
We present a technique for reducing the computational requirements by several orders of magnitude in the evaluation of semidefinite relaxations for bounding the set of quantum correlations arising from finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces.

NAD+ regeneration by mitochondrial complex I NADH dehydrogenase is important for cancer cell proliferation. Specifically, NAD+ is necessary for the activities of NAD+‐dependent deacetylases SIRT3 and SIRT7, which suppress the expression of p21Cip1 cyclin‐dependent kinase inhibitor, an antiproliferative molecule, at the translational and transcriptional

On Orbit Equivalence and Permutation groups defined by unordered relations [PDF]
For a set $\Omega$ an unordered relation on $\Omega$ is a family R of subsets of $\Omega.$ If R is such a relation we let G(R) be the group of all permutations on $\Omega$ that preserves R, that is g belongs to G(R) if and only if x in R implies x^{g}\in R.

Molecular and functional profiling unravels targetable vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer
We used whole exome and RNA‐sequencing to profile divergent genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instable (MSI) colorectal cancer. Alterations were classified using a computational score for integrative cancer variant annotation and prioritization.

Algebraic properties of generalized Rijndael-like ciphers [PDF]
We provide conditions under which the set of Rijndael functions considered as permutations of the state space and based on operations of the finite field $\GF (p^k)$ ($p\geq 2$ a prime number) is not closed under functional composition.

Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Infinity-Norm Permutation Covering Codes from Cyclic Groups [PDF]
We study covering codes of permutations with the $\ell_\infty$-metric. We provide a general code construction, which uses smaller building-block codes. We study cyclic transitive groups as building blocks, determining their exact covering radius, and showing linear-time algorithms for finding a covering codeword.

On the source algebra equivalence class of blocks with cyclic defect groups, I [PDF]
We investigate the source algebra class of a p-block with cyclic defect groups of the group algebra of a finite group. By the work of Linckelmann this class is parametrized by the Brauer tree of the block together with a sign function on its vertices and an endo-permutation module of a defect group.

This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Block-Transitive Designs in Affine Spaces [PDF]
This paper deals with block-transitive $t$-$(v,k,\lambda)$ designs in affine spaces for large $t$, with a focus on the important index $\lambda=1$ case. We prove that there are no non-trivial 5-$(v,k,1)$ designs admitting a block-transitive group of automorphisms that is of affine type.
