Low‐temperature carbonization and sulfur doping increase defect density and tailor surface area, enabling the formation of a thinner, more stable SEI, enhancing rate performance and the ICE. The S/C composite delivers an ICE of 83.1% and 480 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1, retaining 232.6 mAh g−1 at 5 A g−1 for SIBs and achieves a considerable capacity of 439.2 ...

To blog or not to blog, not a real choice there... [PDF]
Science blogging is a very useful system for scientists to improve their work, to keep in touch with other colleagues, to access unfamiliar science developed in other fields, to open new collaborations, to gain visibility, to discuss with the public. To favour the building of blog communities, some media have set up networks hosting scientists' blogs ...

The “Magic” of Conflict: How Participatory Governance Can Enable Transformative Climate Adaptation
ABSTRACT In many cases, addressing climate risks requires transformative climate adaptation (TCA) that goes beyond small adjustments to existing systems. While scholars increasingly argue that participatory governance is key and should embrace conflict rather than push for consensus to enable TCA, this assumption remains underexplored.
