This study reveals that Arabidopsis telomere repeat binding proteins (TRBs) form two closely related complexes. These complexes mediate H3K4me3 demethylation and transcriptional repression through a positive feedback loop and cooperate with PEAT and PRC2 complexes to regulate multiple histone modifications and gene expression across the genome ...

A Modular and Customizable CRISPR/Cas Toolkit for Epigenome Editing of Cis‐regulatory Modules
Epigenome editing surpasses genome editing in gene regulation. Modular epigenome editing frameworks are developed to interrogate cis‐regulome, enabling tunable reprogramming of cis‐elements, uncovering their epigenetic responsiveness and cross‐species portability.

Transformation of a Silicate Material for Carbon Negative Magnesia‐Based Cement via Electrochemistry
The transformation of a magnesium trisilicate material via water electrolysis into precursor phases necessary for magnesium‐based M‐S‐H cement is explored. The dissolution of the material mediated electrochemically is monitored, and the analysis of the resulting phases indicate their suitability as effective precursors for M‐S‐H cement.

This study identifies the mitochondrial protein RTA9, a member of the Domain of Unknown Function 641 family, together with its partner S40, as key regulators of aphid resistance in maize. RTA9 promotes S40 degradation and modulates reactive oxygen species accumulation.
