We consider the following parabolic equations with nonlinear boundary conditions: ut=Δu−a|u|p−1u in B1×(0,T), ∂νu=|u|q−1u on ∂B1×(0,T), where p,q>1, a⩾0 and B1 is the unit ball.

Current technologies for spinal cord optogenetic stimulation rely on external power sources and face reliability constraints in freely behaving animals. Here, a fully implantable, battery‐powered optoelectronic device is introduced, enabling operation in any selected environment with wireless recharging for months‐long stimulation.

By engineering the molecular order and thickness of PDMS layers, we reconcile the stickiness and slipperiness during bubble transport. AFM measurements and MD simulations further reveal how these nanoscale architectures tune hydrophobic interaction FHB and friction force f.

Tightly focused laser irradiation can accumulate tubulin proteins at/around the laser focus, which leads to the formation of highly ordered microtubule assemblies. The assemblies can exhibit various dynamic behaviors such as radial motion, bundling, and flagella‐like rotation with motor protein and chemical energy, highlighting as a unique tool for ...

A sulfated polysaccharide (SCP) from Cyclocarya paliurus alleviates ulcerative colitis by reshaping the gut microbiome. This remodeled microbiota orchestrates the upregulation of the host‐derived lipid 12‐HEPE, which directly inhibits the TLR4/NF‐κB pathway to suppress inflammation.

Different from the current research trends that mainly focus on optimizing a single color system, a universal organic–inorganic hybrid strategy is proposed, aiming to synergistically enhance the luminescent properties of red, green, and blue multi‐color inorganic long‐persistent phosphorescent materials by trap depth modulation and antenna effect of ...

Asymptotic Behavior and Uniqueness Results for Boundary Blow-up Solutions
We estimate the blow-up rate and then improve some existing uniqueness results for boundary blow-up solutions to certain quasilinear elliptic equations with a weight function. The weight function is allowed to vanish on the part of the boundary where the

Abstract Electrification of distillation offers a promising route to reducing scope‐1 emissions from one of the chemical industry's most energy‐intensive unit operations. However, conventional adiabatic columns are dynamically inflexible: Long, energy‐intensive start‐ups make shutdown and restart impractical under variable electricity prices and ...

Blow-up properties for a degenerate parabolic system with nonlinear localized sources
This paper deals with blow-up properties for a degenerate parabolic system with nonlinear localized sources subject to the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The main aim of this paper is to study the blow-up rate estimate and the uniform blow-up
