Blow-up Behavior for a Parabolic Equation With Spatially Dependent Coefficient

open access: yes, 2011
100學年度研究獎補助論文We study the initial boundary value problem and Cauchy problem for the semilinear heat equation with power nonlinearity and spatially dependent coefficient.

Blow-up for a nonlocal nonlinear diffusion equation with source [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study the initial-value problem prescribing Neumann boundary conditions for a nonlocal nonlinear diffusion operator with source, in a bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^N$ with a smooth boundary.

Uniform blow-up rate for parabolic equations with a weighted nonlocal nonlinear source

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, the blow-up rate of solutions of semi-linear reaction–diffusion equations with a more complicated source term, which is a product of nonlocal (or localized) source and weight function a(x), is investigated.

Ultrafast (1‐5 sec) Lamination of Perovskite Solar Cells With Self‐Encapsulation Using Rapid Joule Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Halide perovskite solar cells are fabricated with self‐encapsulation by lamination between two glass substrates using rapid Joule heating, yielding a 99% reduction in lamination time compared to previous studies. An 18% efficient cell is laminated in 5 s, demonstrating the potential for scalable manufacturing. ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are

Reconnaissance Peptide Labeling Grain Boundary of Chemically Grown MoS2 Polycrystalline Monolayer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled peptides on substrates, through adsorption and aggregation, offer an alternative way to label grain boundaries in chemically grown single‐layer polycrystalline MoS2. During an early nucleation step, peptides preferentially bind to grain boundaries.

Uniform blow-up rate for diffusion equations with localized nonlinear source

open access: yes, 2006
In this short paper, we investigate blow-up rate of solutions of reaction–diffusion equations with localized reactions. We prove that the solutions have a global blow-up and the rate of blow-up is uniform in all compact subsets of the ...

Blow-up rates of large solutions for semilinearelliptic equations

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Analysis, 2011
In this paper we analyze the blow-up rates of large solutions to the semilinear elliptic problem $\Delta u =b(x)f(u), x\in \Omega, u|_{\partial \Omega} = +\infty,$ where $\Omega$ is a bounded domain with smooth boundary in $R^N$, $f$ is rapidly varying or normalised regularly varying with index $p$ ($p>1$) at infinity, and $b \in C ...

Improving the Robustness of Visual Teach‐and‐Repeat Navigation Using Drift Error Correction and Event‐Based Vision for Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.

The Blow-up Rate of Solutions to Boundary Blow-up Problems for the Complex Monge-Ampère Operator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
A regularity result for solutions to boundary blow-up problems for the complex Monge-Ampère operator in balls in $$\mathbb{C}^n$$ is proved. For certain boundary blow-up problems on bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domains in $${\mathbb C}^n$$ with smooth ...
