Overcoming Printing and Interfacial Challenges in Liquid Metal Direct Writing for Integrated Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

Existence and non-existence of global solutions for a semilinear heat equation on a general domain

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
We consider the parabolic problem $u_t-\Delta u=h(t) f(u)$ in $\Omega \times (0,T)$ with a Dirichlet condition on the boundary and $f, h \in C[0,\infty)$. The initial data is assumed in the space $\{ u_0 \in C_0(\Omega); u_0\geq 0\}$, where $\Omega$

Flow‐Adaptive Gas Sensing Enabled Using a Uniform Au Nanosheet Sensor Array and a Neural Network Inference

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Integrated Au nanosheet sensor array enables simultaneous inference of gas concentration and flow rate via deep neural network analysis, without external flow control. ABSTRACT Gas sensor responses are considerably affected by gas flow rates, thereby inhibiting the accurate detection of target gas concentrations in variable‐flow applications such as ...

Existence of positive solutions for some Dirichlet problems with an asymptotically homogeneous operator

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1995
Dirichlet problem of the form $${ m div,} (A(|Du|)Du)=f(u) { m in } Omega $$ $$ u = 0 { m on } partialOmega $$ is studied by using blow-up techniques. It is proven here that by choosing the functions $sA(s)$ and $f(s)$ among a certain class called {em ...

3D Printed PEDOT:PSS‐Based Lattice Pressure Sensors With Tunable Electromechanical Response

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS)‐based architected lattices are fabricated via single‐step Digital Light Processing (DLP) printing for tunable pressure sensing. Structural design variations allow precise control of sensitivity and range, while integrated conductivity eliminates post‐processing.

Boundary blow-up solutions of cooperative systems

open access: yesAnnales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré C, Analyse non linéaire, 2009
We study the existence, uniqueness and boundary profile of nonnegative boundary blow-up solution to the cooperative system \begin{cases} \mathrm{\Delta }u = g(u−v) & \text{in} & \Omega , \\ \mathrm{\Delta }v = f(v−\beta u) & \text{in} & \Omega , \\ u = v = \infty & \text{on} & \partial ...

TADF‐Emitting Dendrimers for Scalable Bar‐Coating Fabrication of Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
TADF‐emitting dendrimers promise to enable scalable solution‐based fabrication of efficient electroluminescent devices by the virtue of an attractive set of properties. Here, we report on how light‐emitting electrochemical cells, comprising the TADF‐dendrimer tBuCz2m2pTRZ, can be fabricated by scalable bar‐coating under ambient air and deliver uniform ...

High‐Quality Free‐Standing Diamond Micromembranes for Nanoscale Quantum Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
We report a procedure for fabricating low‐damage free‐standing diamond micromembranes, and we show that this fabrication scheme preserves the optical and spin properties of state‐of‐the‐art shallow NV center quantum sensors, within nanometers of the diamond surface, while providing significant photonic enhancement.
