Using Secondary Air Cooling in Blown Film Extrusion: Concept Design and Experimental Study
The characteristics and the quality of a blown film are strongly influenced by the stretching and simultaneous cooling of the molten polymer within the bubble formation zone. Moreover, the output rate of the process is generally limited by the cooling rates and the stability of the bubble.
