BST1047+1156: A (Failing) Ultradiffuse Tidal Dwarf in the Leo I Group
We use deep Hubble Space Telescope imaging to study the resolved stellar populations in BST1047+1156, a gas-rich, ultradiffuse dwarf galaxy found in the intragroup environment of the Leo I galaxy group.

How many trees are there in the North American boreal forest?
Boreal forests, the largest terrestrial biome on Earth, are highly varied in local tree density. Despite previous attempts to estimate tree density in boreal forests, the accuracy of the estimation is unknown, leaving the question how many trees there are in boreal forests largely unanswered. Here, we compiled tree density data from 4367 plots in North

Catalogue of nearby blue and near-solar gas metallicity SDSS dwarf galaxies [PDF]
A less explored aspect of dwarf galaxies is their metallicity evolution. Generally, dwarfs have lower metallicities than Hubble sequence late type galaxies but in reality, dwarfs span a wide range of metallicities with several open questions regarding the formation and evolution of the lowest and the highest metallicity dwarfs.

Hydrovoltaic Energy Harvesting From Nut Shells
Schematic diagram illustrating the process of an NS‐based WEG. The flow diagram illustrates the preparations, porous hierarchical structure, water‐surface interactions, water transportation through channels and generating streaming potential. The center left demonstrates voltage/current generation through evaporation in graphite‐NS‐graphite sandwich ...

Ultradiffuse Dwarf Galaxies Hosting Pseudobulges
By analyzing data from DESI Legacy Imaging Survey of the dwarf galaxies in the Arecibo Legacy Fast Alfa Survey, we have identified five ultradiffuse galaxies (UDGs) featuring central pseudobulges.
