Leakage of Intracellular Substances from Blue-Green Algae, Spirulina platensis due to Agitation

スピルリナおよびクロレラからの細胞内物質漏出速度におよぼす撹拌の影響を明らかにするため，スピルリナ懸濁液の撹拌実験を行った．濾過によってスピルリナおよびクロレラを除去した培養液の紫外吸収を測定したところ，撹拌を行うことでスピルリナおよびクロレラから細胞内物質が漏出することがわかった．細胞内物質の漏出速度はスピルリナ濃度の1.0乗と羽根枚数の1.3乗に比例した．撹拌レイノルズ数Reが1.1–2.2×104の範囲で，スピルリナからの細胞内物質の漏出速度定数は7×10−3 m3 · kg−1 · h−1であり，クロレラのそれに比べて1.4倍である．
