Lasing characteristics of gas mixtures involving UFG: Application to nuclear pumping of lasers [PDF]
Intense blue-green fluorescence from a structured band centered at lambda approximately 484 nm was observed from Ar, CF3I and NF3 gas mixtures excited by an electron beam.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Spontaneous Emission Studies for Blue and Green InGaN-Based Light-Emitting Diodes and Laser Diodes
We investigated the efficiency droop phenomenon in blue and green GaN-based light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and laser diodes (LDs), which poses a significant challenge in high-power LEDs and is characterized by a reduction in external quantum efficiency at ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Chelation strategy induced blue-shift for efficient deep-blue perovskite light-emitting diodes
Metal halide perovskite, regarded as a potential material for next-generation display and lighting applications, has attracted great attention [1,2]. The development of blue perovskite lightemitting diodes (PeLEDs) remains stagnant compared with their green and red counterparts in recent years [3–8].

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
