Spectroscopic Properties of QSOs Selected from Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxy Samples
We performed spectroscopic observations for a large infrared QSO sample with a total of 25 objects. The sample was compiled from the QDOT redshift survey, the 1 Jy ULIRGs survey and a sample obtained by a cross-correlation study of the IRAS Point Source ...

A spectroscopic analysis of a sample of narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies selected from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey [PDF]
We revisited the spectroscopic characteristics of narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1s) by analysing a homogeneous sample of 296 NLS1s at redshift between 0.028 and 0.345, extracted from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-DR7) public archive. We confirm

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

Characterization of anatase TiO2 nanopowder by variable-temperature Raman spectroscopy [PDF]
Raman spectroscopy has been used for characterization of commercial nanosized TiO2 powder with declared grain size of 5 nm. The Raman spectra measured in Stokes and anti-Stokes regime confirm the anatase phase of TiO2 powder in temperature range 25-1173K.

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Porosity-induced blueshift of photoluminescence in CdSe
Porous CdSe layers have been fabricated by anodic etching of n-type single crystalline substrates with different values of conductivity. The morphology and porosity of the layers thus produced were found to be controlled by the conductivity of the material, anodization voltage, and conditions of in situ UV illumination.

Shell Universe: Reducing Cosmological Tensions with the Relativistic Ni Solutions
Recent discoveries of massive galaxies existing in the early universe, as well as apparent anomalies in Ωm and H0 at high redshift, have raised sharp new concerns for the ΛCDM model of cosmology. Here, we address these problems by using new solutions for

The Largest Blueshifts of [O III] emission line in Two Narrow-Line Quasars
We have obtained optical intermediate resolution spectra (R = 3000) of the narrow-line quasars DMS 0059-0055 and PG 1543+489. The [O III] emission line in DMS 0059-0055 is blueshifted by 880 km/s relative to Hbeta.
