ABSTRACT Purpose Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow oscillations have emerged as a potentially important marker related to brain clearance, but their acquisition often relies on specialized imaging MRI sequences. The purpose of this work was to enable quantitative assessment of CSF flow associated with cardiac, respiratory, and low‐frequency cycles using ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a slice‐wise blurring‐free and densely sampled TE‐resolved multiple‐TE (mTE) ASL sequence (TASL) for measuring blood–brain barrier (BBB) water exchange time. Methods A 3D TSE spiral‐readout pCASL sequence was modified to enable TE‐resolved acquisition.

Ex vivo MRI was performed on AD mouse models using high‐resolution multi‐echo gradient‐echo imaging on a 9.4T scanner to generate quantitative susceptibility maps (QSM) and separate diamagnetic and paramagnetic components. Amyloid‐β$$ \beta $$ plaques were detected from the susceptibility maps.

Abstract Background Ultra‐high‐resolution (UHR) photon‐counting CT (PCCT) with small‐pixel detectors improves resolution and noise, but its dependence on diverse imaging conditions remains insufficiently characterized. Purpose To systematically evaluate the small‐pixel effect in UHR PCCT by assessing noise properties and high‐contrast spatial ...
